Up for sale is a Spike Brewing 20 Gallon 3 Vessel Trio System. Includes pretty much everything you would get when ordering new from Spike. Can be used for 6 - 15G batches. Asking $3500, purchasing the same system new from Spike is almost $8800 with taxes right now so this is well under half the cost. Located near Davenport, Iowa and would prefer meeting in person and could drive to meet somewhere but I can look into shipping at buyer's expense. It would take 4 sizeable boxes so I imagine it won't be cheap to ship.

I purchased this system from another home brewer and did not realize how much it would cost to run power where I need it due to the distance and needing to upgrade my small subpanel in the garage to use it. So I'll stick with my all-in-one and BIAB for a bit until I can justify the cost.

Details:
  • 3 x 20 Gallon Spike Kettles
    • Herms System
    • All Tri-Clamp
    • Trivets to go under kettles to protect table
  • 50A Double Batch Control Panel - Can run both elements at the same time
    • Includes Heavy-Duty TV Wall Mount
    • Could be adapted to 30A Single Batch with a few components by a savvy individual (switch, relay, 30A input cable)
  • 2 X Pumps
  • All Hoses and Fittings
  • Other Accessories
I have quite a bit of other duplicate homebrew equipment that can be sold with it if someone is just getting started. This includes hydrometers, refractometers, 2 or 3 Fermzilla 15G All-Rounders, motor-driven grain mill, ball-lock kegs, bottle drying racks, etc. I have picked these up from different home brew lots over the years and don't need it all. Let me know if you are just getting started or if any of these items would be helpful.

I have some pictures that I can send but they are currently in storage. I'll get them mocked up in the next week for pictures but they are in great condition. It has the now "old" Spike logo for those who care as it was purchased in 2020 according to the previous owner. Looking forward to getting this in the hands of someone who can put it to good use. Let me know if you have any questions and have a Merry Christmas!

Cheers!

Is this system still for sale?

Is this system still for sale?
Yes, it is still for sale. I haven’t gone through and set it up to take nice pictures yet unfortunately but I can send what I have for it in storage if you want. Everything is in great condition on it though. Let me know if you are interested and we can go from there. Thanks!

You got me to thinking when you mentioned the electrical upgrade cost, but my 220 circuit break is rated for 40 Amps but the wire is 10 gauged so I should be OK if that is the case, even if I have to upgrade the breaker to 50Amps. Anyway, if that is the case as I believe it is, I would be interested in seeing the pictures and very interested if the system is in great condition and lightly used? I would really prefer a 15 gallon system, but 20 is OK if the electrical works as I believe it does. I live in Anderson, Indiana so Davenport Iowa is just a 5 hour drive. Doable in a day. Please try to list any extras/add-ons that comes with it. Spike systems are usually barebones as shipped and require many accessories to be practical. But yes, I am seriously interested. Thank you.
