After fining and adding sulfite and sorbate then....racking off sediment it appears that I racked a little too soon on one of my 1 gal meads (a little new sediment dropped out).
I could carefully bottle off of the sediment... but was wondering, if I were to rack one more time before bottling leaving considerable headspace for only for 2-3 days, would the 2-3 days of (full diameter of carboy) exposure to oxygen be much of an issue?
I am out of marbles (and about to loose them) and currently have no other options to reduce headspace if I were to rack off before bottling.
Thanks
