Also CR Kriek drops in the U.S. in February.
Elderflowers?!

I really need to try Mamouche at some point and see what I think about elderflower lambic. Are there any others that might be more readily available? Funnily enough it's the only "shelf Cantillon" that I haven't tried.

Mikkeller has a Spontanelderflower which I found pretty awesome (and comparable to the on-tap Mamouche I've had, not comparable to the bottled one). Not Payottenland, but made via spontaneous fermentation in Belgium.

I thought that certainly wasn't bad, but it lacked some depth

yup, most of the Spontan*s lack some depth, they're pretty aggressive, but certainly not bad. And elderflower alone adds quite some harmony, so this was one of the better ones.

this is different from inbev how exactly?

BCBS isn't a **** beer (unlike, say, the Mikkeller Black Hole series) and the price is reasonable (although getting less so? Heck, I don't think one could call the pricing "exorbitant" even on InBev's ****** AAL catalogue. It's crap but at least it's priced as such.

Mikkeller bottles are average prices here in Europe. The only real exception would be the ba vanilla shake, but that stuff must have crack in it, I couldn't get enough.

mikkeller has a few good beers to.... that aren't 60$.... and 60$ isn't reasonable for something that at most cost 10$ to produce. looks to me as if they put a bigger markup on that than mikkeller does to his beers. and lest we forget about the inbev distribution system which has significantly lower costs associated with it than mikkeller.

i'm not defending mikkeller, but i don't see how you separate the 2 in your mind when inbev is just as guilty as mikkeller in regards to what you are talking about... not to mention inbevs stated goal is to eliminate craft beer and turn every beer available into a product they own.

mb mikkeller should sell vanilla shake at 60$ so everyone can justify how good it is and 'worth it'... or maybe rare (lulz) should sell at 20$ and actually be reasonably priced.

$10 to make BOURBON COUNTY RARE!?!? LOL YEA RIGHT! It's 60$, its aged for TWO years!!!! It has to cost at least 50-55$ to make, I bet they are not even making money.

I've always found that pretty ironic some people complains about the 12$ price tag for 375ml Mikkeller's bottle while paying 30$ for Bruery bottles and constantly being ISO. Or Cascade.

I enjoy what Mikkeller does, but found the pricing a little bit too expensive for what it is usually. Doesn't make it ****** for that reason. But I totally hear you out.

This topic might have already been discussed, my quick searches on here and the internet didn't' yield anything. Does 3F plan to make Zenne Y Frontera again going forward? Or is it a 1 off thing never to be done again?

The barrels which were used for the current batch weren't completely emptied and then topped off with fresh lambic. So more is coming.
