Since I've got the picture now... it was another amazing packing job by BIAB. Every time I've ordered from them I've been amazed the box made it. Invoice and contents list were opened. Obviously taped up by courier service.

anyone ever had a box without track/trace capabilities? ie: i have a number off of the shipping label (from a picture), and it's supposedly been shipped, but the barcode isn't being found by bpost.

I didn't know if track/trace is a pay-for option and what if would show up as if we didn't pay for it?

I got the lambic nerves bros... bad. this is NOT a box i can lose!

I think all Bpost international boxes have tracking, but I've often had to wait 3-4 days for my shipment to show up in the system. How long have you waited?

If you check Bpost there are often two numbers on the site that look like tracking numbers, one of which is listed as a reference number. Check the reference number on USPS and sometimes that is the one that's tracking.

Lucky. Only two bottling dates correspond with my birthday, one of which is basically a ghost.

To be fair, none were direct hits on the exact day/year.
I was generically eyeballing anything that falls in June of 2011 or December of 2013.

Somewhat related, I have had a box with the most recent update at "Item information registered manually" since 4/14. I would have thought it would have popped through to customs by now. Its starting to stress me out.

Also, when I check the USPS tracking number it shows as "pre-shipment" with the status at "origin post is preparing shipment."

has anyone seen this happen before? I am wondering if it missed a scan somewhere along the way.

Yeah i know (but very helpful information!), but i can't even pull the thing up on bpost site. I have a picture of the actual paper label with the CE####BE on the barcode, but bpost tracking site isn't finding it.

I just didn't know if tracking service costs more (like it often does for USPS) and maybe my shipper just didn't pay for it and that's why it's not showing up, or if i don't have the right number/it hasn't shipped/boxofawesomebeerisgoneforeverandimfucked.

I have a box of lambic baskets shipped by Cantillon on April 8th and there has been no updates on Bpost or USPS since then.

I emailed Julie van Roy and she said they had already looked into it, but it was not their responsibility. She added they would do what they could to help. Not sure if I am out of luck or if I could get a refund/re shipment if it never turns up.

Long shot, but I've seen other shipping services that changed the tracking # at time of pickup, so that the receipt shows the correct one and the invoice is the old number.

theres a good chance that he switched the label too, as he originally claimed some things i advised against (like "Twelve bottles beer" haha). so he might have switched and forgot to update.

i'll just track him down. thanks guys!

I found a classic gueuze with my sons exact birthdate 1/31/13. Only been able to find 1 bottle so far, but if anyone out there has anymore, I'll make you happy .

Wedding anniversary is Oct. 4, 2008. There is a US label Classic Gueuze 750 with an Oct. 3, 2008 bottle date.
It would be amazing to open one on our 10 year in a few years.
Having never traded for older lambic before, what caliber of bottles would it take to land something like this?
