Saw both Vermouth and Calvados hit Western NC. Calvados was fantastic and is still sitting around.Did the Boon/Mikkeller Vermouth see US Distro? I saw the previous years around me but never saw the vermouth.

Similar pricing to what I’ve seen here. Someone opened a bottle of Calvados recently. Highly carbed, thinner body, depth of funk similar to older 3F. Tasty. Vermouth seemed limited here and sat around $28 IIRC.I'm not sure if there was a new drop of Calvados locally or if my preferred shop was hoarding them, but they had a good dozen bottles on the shelf over the weekend at $21/ea. Was sorta hoping that the Vermouth would show up, but I have 1 in an Etre box that I'll get eventually....

Lindeman’s is sending young lambic on draft to the US right now. The bar I work at got some and we should be tapping it soon.

Dude...Last week I was passing through Baltimore and decided to stop at Max’s taphouse as they were having their annual Belgian fest with a pretty awesome lineup that included Mamouche and Fou on draft.
They had the lindemans jonge on and it was awesome. It lacked the heavy brett/horsey character that cuvee rene displays but was a straight up slammer that I could have easily tanked by the flower vase. If they ever put this stuff in bag a box and it shows up online, id buy as much as they would allow. I liked it that much.
I am the worst at planning these sort of things. It was a wake up and roll sorta situation. I was likely within tip docking distance of you and Beerontwowheels and for that, in hindsight, I feel ashamed.Dude...
Lindemans is organising during the Tour de Geuze a ‘Blend Your Own Gueuze Experience’. It was organised for the first time at the Tour de Geuze 2017 and it turned out to be a huge success.
Wouldn't you want to add more 1-year old lambic if you want more carb?source :

I'm really looking forward to this!
In 2017 I made my own gueuze from 4 barrels containing 1, 2 and 3 year old lambic.
The result was tasted the year after and it was an enjoyable gueuze, but it lacked in carb.
During this TdG I'll use more 3 year old lambic in the blend and see how that'll turn out.

Luckily I filled my box with OG 750s before the magnums and additional Hommage showed up. Luckily...Etre just murdering my bank account.
I cannot believe that you East Coasters actually left enough Hommage Assemblage and OG Assemblage magnums so that my West Coast ass could FINALLY get something awesome. Filled out the rest of my case with standard OG. What a great day.
You’re welcome.
I enjoy Hommage and really desired the chance to try this honey one...and who doesnt love acquiring a magnum of geuze to take to the face?
But I opt’d for a mixed case of Fantome instead which ended up being cheaper than the 2 hommage and a magnum.
Pulled the trigger on an OG mag after realizing its still much cheaper to order and pay shipping than it is to buy off shelf (if I could ever find one in NYC). Skipped on Hommage as I am not the biggest fan and the price is insane. Threw in an Assemblage 44 and a Fantome 30th.
What did it cost? $72 on the shelf here, and not that hard to find. Cheaper than arranging it and shipping for me, especially since I only bought the mag.Pulled the trigger on an OG mag after realizing its still much cheaper to order and pay shipping than it is to buy off shelf (if I could ever find one in NYC). $48 before shipping. Will probably be around $60 - 65 after shipping if I maximize my boxWhat did it cost? $72 on the shelf here, and not that hard to find. Cheaper than arranging it and shipping for me, especially since I only bought the mag.
Ya, I have no problem paying $10 more to just grab it off the shelf and not worry about filling a box, shipping issues, etc.$48 before shipping. Will probably be around $60 - 65 after shipping if I maximize my box

I'm in NYC, where OG 375mls go for $20. My options are basically either order through Etre, who I've used many times with no issues, or ask for a C&S from someone, pay $75 plus shipping and a thank you box. I wish NYC got shelf mags and Golden BlendYa, I have no problem paying $10 more to just grab it off the shelf and not worry about filling a box, shipping issues, etc.
