I felt the same way. Didn't think they went on sale that far in advance in prior years.
Last year I think they went on sale in May. Anybody know for certain if BiaB is proxying for them this year? I know they did last year. I sent BiaB a message to ask and, shockingly, got no response. I passed on the beer packs. I'm sure I will regret it when they announce lambic made with unicorn tears in the pack.

Split a 2013 Fou Foune last weekend, it was incredible. Light fruit, almost no sour/tartness, loads of funk. I was expecting it to be pretty acidic, but there was nothing, like funky gatorade. This particular bottle had been in a wine fridge for the last few years, so maybe that did something.

Was the wine fridge upright or on its side?

BIN'd.

Also, to report, earlier I wrote I was able to order two 4-packs of Cantillon (Fou and others) off BIAB- they canceled the order but never refunded me (or had the courtesy to tell me why- I assume it was the two 4-packs that was the offense). They never responded to my followup emails over the last two weeks so I ended up calling my bank to dispute the transaction. I think BIAB is over and done with now- I suspect that even had I ordered the 1 4-pack, it would have taken an immensely long time to actually get it..

Etre reloaded on framboos, RdG, and gueuze

Their new website is pretty fancy. I forgot I had a framboos in my current box and it wouldn’t even let me checkout since it’s 1pp. In the past I believe they would just refund you later. Quite a nice system (though I do wish I could’ve bind another framboos, the new one is tasty AF).

Maybe Santa will bring you one for Christmas

I know a couple people who successfully bought 2 packs and already received them via post...ordering two isn't the issue. Maybe oversold?

Another question for you Etre folks. I notice some of you mention you have bottles in your current boxes. I take it that means you can order bottles as they appear and have the store hold them until you have enough to maximize on shipping? If so, how do you go about arranging that?

- Add beer to cart/basked
- check out
- at shipping options screen pick which option best fits your needs:
A. reserve for shipment later
B. ship right meow
C. pick up in store

As your checking out, you have the option to have the bottles shipped immediately, or be held until the "end of the quarter." If you select the latter, you have to pay now, but the bottles will be held and combined with later orders, as long as those other orders are placed before the end of some arbitrary time limit.

Question for you Etre devotees,

Do they typically restock at a certain time, or are inventory changes completely random?
Like clockwork, immediately after they tell you to fill your pending boxes.

Case in point:
This is hardly a joke, I filled up my box yesterday after being in communication with Jonathan and expecting them NOT to add anything else before the 20th. I'm a touch annoyed right now.

I have also had luck simply ignoring their emails about the "end of quarter" deadline. They then contact me a week or two after the deadline to more sternly remind me that I need to ship. This strategy has bought me a couple extra weeks in the hopes of restocking A&G or some loon shelfies. Other times I simply have them top off my box with a bunch of 3F OG and ship.

I should've done that but was trying to be a good guy. Oh well, now all I have to show for it is a bunch of Westvleteren and A&G. Woe is me.

eh, i've ordered several times a couple days before the deadline, and held through to the next deadline... it's almost one of those "you can get a pass for a couple bottles if you've shipped a box in the quarter already" deals... or has been for me in the past.
