I don't even recall actually getting tracking info from Cantillon last time I ordered. One of my friends who also ordered posted a pic of his Lam and Vig bottles on social media, so I checked my apartment's office and the box was there.

They usually send up an email update that has a tracking number, you can also log into your account and find a tracking number there.

I'm pretty sure I won't survive Zwanze

I opened a 2015 Fou at my brothers wedding and some of our guests were french. They got a good laugh out of my pussy beer :D

To go or just onsite? I definitely need to get my hands on some of that!

On site only. Id imagine it'll be released around the time of Nath and LPF as those seem ready to go. Fou was still resting when I went and reports seem to say its not done conditioning. Though now that I look through pictures I can see that Nath was still resting as well. Tasted good to go, imo. The smell on the other hand...

It's a bit early, but is anyone planning on being in Belgium the first week of October? First solo trip and would like to meet up with people and hopefully share bottles.
So my work trip got pushed into November. Tickets are officially booked now, I'll be in Brussels Nov 8th-12th. Anyone else going to be there that weekend? Looking to meet up with any TB peeps to share bottles and hangout. Can't wait!!

Regarding Nath, what about the smell? Care to elaborate on aroma and tasting notes? Curious as Zwanze '12 is probably my favorite Cantillon I've ever had.

It smelled like rotting produce. "Hot garbage" was how I described it to friends, but really it smelled like a compost bin after a hot day. The flavor profile was great though. Soft lambic, fresh rhubarb, some slight cantillon funk that I expect will take hold with more time in the bottle. Its a great beer with an awful nose to it at the moment.

Well, damn. Can anyone else corroborate this hot garbage aroma? I'm sure a solid number of people here have tried Nath.

Will definitely report back in the next 6 weeks when I try it, thanks Gaseous Clay for the info. Cheers

Can confirm it smelled terrible. To me it was a strong sulfur smell.

In contrast, I was not really a fan overall. Even getting past the smell, didn't love the flavor either. Maybe I'm just not a huge fan of rhubarb, but I do remember liking Zwanze 2012 back in the day.

Looking forward to trying it again on Zwanze day and see if a month has done it any good.

Interesting talk all around on the Nath. We had this as it was in the tank, as it was being bottled some days later, and then again a few days after it was bottled as well as a Zwanze 2008 while there in June. The interesting thing about this batch is how much ******* Rhubarb they put in it. I don't know how much they put in before, but it seemed as if they just keep getting deliveries daily of rhubarb for like three days. Jean said that after the first maceration he wasn't happy with the extraction so he put more into the tank with the lambic. There were also two (or maybe three, I can't recall) bottling runs of Nath. I'm not sure if that will be expressed on the bottling dates/labels or not, but I'll be curious to see if different dates are doing different things. What was also interesting is how quickly they put it on the tasting menu. It couldn't have have been more than a couple weeks from bottling. Jean must think it's about ready though because he's sending a bunch out for Zwanze Day, and I know of at least two stores in Europe outside of Belgium that are expecting bottles this week. I didn't get that hot garbage smell that Gaseous Clay speaks of but I can definitely see how that could develop. I get that sometimes with really fresh Mamouche before it integrates a bit or if you don't let the bottle open up/decant. Jean has been working with rhubarb pretty consistently since that 2012 Zwanze remake, with bottlings in 15 and 16 (which is why it stuck around on the menu so long despite being labeled as Zwanze 2012), so hopefully it's just going through one of its phases.

+1 on 2012 zwanze being a standout. wonder how it is now as I haven't had it since 2014...

What he said. When we tried it in June it definitely had a very vegetal smell, but not compost bin...

Had Nath at BXL Fest. No hot garbage or butyric acid or anything else. Tasted like a toned-down Z12 (which is one of my favorite Cantillons)...not as layered or bright or rhubarb forward, but certainly not terrible. Then again, keg v. bottle?

Stadin Panimo (bar in Helsinki hosting Zwanze) is having a Cantillon takeover less than two weeks after Zwanze.

Tap:
Cantillon Iris
Cantillon Cuvee Saint-Gilloise
Cantillon Rose de Cambrinus
Cantillon Gueuze
Cantillon Kriek
Cantillon Fou'foune

Bottles:
Gueuze 37.5cl & 75cl
Kriek 37.5cl & 75 cl
Rosé de Gambrinus 37.5cl & 75cl
Fou'foune 75cl
Mamouche 75cl
Lou Pépé Framboise 75cl
Grand Cru Bruocsella 75cl
Iris 75cl

Theyll also be selling pours from these: Bzart, Girardin, Tilquin, Hanssens, 3 Fonteinen and Oud Beersel. They never sell pours from bottles.

Im quite excited to try fresh CSG and Fou.

Yeah the keg smelled better. Bottles had definately a lot of sulphur/some poop on the nose. I've tried 4 bottles and they all had it, though one definately had less rhubarb than the others, which I also heard from someone else trying it.
