Anyone else get a tracking update from Cantillon this morning? Odd because I thought he was shipping everything out in September, because of the heat.

yeah i was wondering the same thing but i guess they're just getting it ready?

And thanks for always having a wide variety of bottles on site only and always opening interesting bottles for people when they visit!
Seriously. Last time I went I got to have an 03' Gueuze, Zwanze 08', Zwanze 14', and Pinot d'Aunis just because I was talking to JVR about it and about how amazing I think they are. JVR also bowed at me when I told him that the main reason we were even in Brussels was to journey to Cantillon. But seriously, that guys sucks amiright?!? Lol.

Yeah, but if you click the link it says they are preparing the shipment. I bet it says that until mid/late september.

The rollercoaster ride that is 2011 Golden Blend. Dried gunk around the cork, verrrry subtle pop of the cork. Essentially still. That glorious 3F nose, basement funk for days. I don't mind still lambic but damn this would have been really special with a touch more carb

I feel like this hits a sweet spot around 3-4 years, i'm sure it still tastes fantastic but from my experience with 2011 bottles a good amount of them are completely flat at this point.

It's been like 50/50 for me lately. The ones that hold up are so good! I've got one left. Not sure if its worth acquiring more at this point though honestly.

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting in touch with Belgium in a Box? I've tried emailing their info@ email address 4 separate times now over 12 days with zero response.

Opened my 2nd de cam nectarine (the first batch that hit online stores) yesterday. The first one I had was one of the most sour beers I've ever had with a lot of vinegar, could only handle a few oz. I drank the 1st one just weeks after getting it. This second one I waited for in hopes that it would differ from the first, and it did. The bottle was completely still, and was drinkable, but still a good bit of vinegar flavor. As it warmed I enjoyed it somewhat. Definitely not my favorite de cam, but an improvement from the first one I opened. Anyone else have a similar experience? Wild bottle variation? I've seen some reviews that are very different from my experience.
