Lag between first runnings and sparge?

My propane tank ran out when I was heating my sparge water, so I collected the first runnings, ran out and got a new tank, and then sparged. The time between draining and sparge was approx. 30 mins. Does anyone see any problems with this??

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

You may just have to heat your sparge water a little hotter to compensate for the extra heat loss in the grain bed during that 30 minutes. Other than that, you should be good to go.
