My propane tank ran out when I was heating my sparge water, so I collected the first runnings, ran out and got a new tank, and then sparged. The time between draining and sparge was approx. 30 mins. Does anyone see any problems with this??

You may just have to heat your sparge water a little hotter to compensate for the extra heat loss in the grain bed during that 30 minutes. Other than that, you should be good to go.:mug:
