I'm planning on brewing a sweet tea IPA. I would like it to be a little bit sweeter than a normal IPA to mimic sweet tea a little bit. I don't want it to be sickeningly sweet just a touch so its not like drinking a cup of black tea. I am planning on mashing at a higher temp to kick up the sweetness a bit probably 155-156. Would adding a little bit of lactose be an ok idea or would that mess up the body too much? I don't want it to be a heavy or creamy beer just want a bit of sweetness. So should I mash higher and add lactose or just mash high?

Thanks have a taco. :taco:

I think maybe 2-3% lactose would be the high end for an IPA, but it's doable. Try some omnipollo ipas for reference first, they add lactose all the time.
