So my 2l starter on my stir plate made so much krausen that I just went to crash cool it and found a thick sticky clay material everywhere where it apparently leaked and dried up. How much yeast do you think I lost. My plan was to crash cool it and make 2 more starters basically quadrupling my yeast so I can pitch 200b cells each into 2 batches

You made/saved more than you lost. Don't worry, move forward with your plan. Cheers!

Order yourself some anti-foam. That will help greatly but not totally stop an over flow. It's discouraging to go to all that trouble and lose a lot of yeast!
