I would get a 30qt for cheaper. This will give you more flexibility if you want to do 5 gallon batches in the future.
The walls are pretty thin but it works well. The Crawfish basket would help with BIAB; just line it with your paint strainer and you have a solid basket to pick up.
You will have to install standoffs on the bottom so it doesn't sit on your element; this could be as simple as a couple of bolts.

Going with a smaller kettle may give you problems going electric because the diameter may be too short for standard elements.
