have any of you ever made this beer? Sounds interesting just because I am from Kentucky and it is not something that they really made after Prohibition. What I read said that some brewers did it with a sour mash and basically flipped the cron and barley quantities that you wold use in a bourbon mash, basically majority roasted dark barley malt, up to 35 % corn and a bit of rye.

I made one once. it was basically a dark cream ale. some speculate about it being sour mashed or not. Mine was sour mashed and it turned out pretty nice.
