I have an ale in a keg that was primed with corn sugar, purged with CO2 then left to sit at 70F for 2 weeks.

Regarding conditioning / aging / drinking / tasting:

I can chill the keg to 45F and put it on CO2 then taste / drink or
Leave the keg at 70F and put it on CO2 then serve through a cold plate.

Would the beer continue to condition better at the warmer 70F? or does it continue to condition just fine at 45F?

The cold plate plan seems to be a better choice if I decide to remove from the CO2 and leave it to condition longer as I do not think taking a 45F keg back to 70F for more conditioning is a good idea.

Thanks

I'm new to kegging, but I can almost 100% tell you that if you naturally primed it then the longer it sits around 70 the better. I'd go the cold plate route, IMO.

Thanks skewed

Seemed like the best plan to me too but wanted to see if others agreed.
