I plan to build a closet over my kegerator and inside put a less cool than the kegerator compartement to put a keg or two of low carbonation ale like a bitter or scotch ale. I have an aluminium cooling case from an old refrigerator and a few small radiators. I plan to put a radiator in the bottom of the freezer add a small tank with a submersible pump, a temperature controller , put some water lines, insulate then build the closet over it. It sounds too good to be true. I did some search and haven't seen anything like that. Now I'm wondering why and trying to find what would cause my project not to work?
Could a tap same height than the bottom of the keg be an issue, thinking i could put the keg upside down or on its side to reduce hose lenght for those not so carbonated beers not sure it is neccessary. Here is some of the major componnents. I'm wondering if i should use a radiator, tubing spiral or the channeled plate inside the kegerator.

I'm sorry I have nothing to contribute...my ingenuity runs about as deep as a yeast cake...but that sounds amazing!! Very excited to see where this goes!

I don't know about the keg's height, but I would be sure to keep the keg upright and not upside down or on its side. This way the gas dip tube is not submerged in beer and the liquid dip tube bottom is not in a co2 pocket that's normally the headspace on top of the beer.

I would have inverted the gas and pick up tube and made a support so the keg would not support on the quick connect, i did not tought about it but i could just use a bigger line to get less restriction.
