For the couple years I've been kegging, I've used picnic taps that I keep on the inside of my fridge. That system ain't broke, but I want to fix it (I no longer care if I drill holes in my fridge door).

I'm looking at faucets now, and had settled on SS Intertaps since 1. Marshall at Brulosophy gives them glowing reviews; 2. My preferred homebrew retailer carries them; and 3. They're significantly cheaper than Perlick faucets, and see #1.

During an Amazon wandering, I found MRbrew SS faucets that are about $10 cheaper than the Intertaps. That cheap for SS has me a little more than suspect, but I found very favorable online reviews for them (although not that many overall). Anyone with first hand knowledge of/ experience with them?

Looks like they only sell on Amazon and AliExpress. I didn't find any 'real' distributors or partners.

My guess is it's a Chinese company that markets cheap knock-offs. So unless you find someone with first hand positive experience, I'd stick with Marshall.

From what I can find there, all of the "MRbrew SS faucets" on Amazon are rear-sealing.
Might want to consider that going cheap may not be optimal, as rear-sealers are much more prone to sticking than a forward-sealing faucet.
Folks have snapped off tap handles on stuck faucets...

Cheers!

I didn't see that they were not front sealing, but it's nice to hear a pro for front sealing.

Again, cheap had me wondering, but not enough to rule them out myself.
