Does the amount of head space in the keg have any effect on carbonation? I have a keg that is very full that has not carbonated and it has been on the gas for over a week now. That is the only thing I can think of since my CO2 tank is still full I know there isn't a leak some where. The keg also has pressure. Thanks!

It is in the low 40's and I turned the pressure up to about 15psi yesterday. It had been about 10psi for the previous 5 or 6 days.

Head space is moot.

But I plan on room temp carbing several cornys regularly based on my ne understanding of gas laws.

I was thinking of laying them on there side to increase surface area.

no wamys no wamys please dont leak.

Maybe I'll take it out and lay it on its side. It would warm up to about 76-78F.
