Thought I'd post up a quick pick of my hydrometer sample from the Kölsch I just finished. I was a bit worried about clarity since it took FOREVER for Wyeasts Kölsch strain to drop out of suspension. O.G. was 1.048 F.G. was 1.005. I used the recipe from brewing classic styles with a 15 min addition of huel melon but kept IBUs the same. This was a full volume BIAB brew. The late addition of hops probably takes it out of style but it still tastes great, even uncarbonated.

Nice, I bottled today and now the impatient wait begins. I definitely recommend at least a 3 week cold crash. That's what I ended up needing on mind to get everything to drop out. The photo I posted doesn't really do justice to how clear it was. Just wishing I had the right glassware for this beer.
