Just starting, philadelphia, PA

HI Everybody!

My name is Chaz and i have jsut recently started brewing as of 5 days ago. I have always loved tryign new beers and can't wait to start brewing my own beers from the raw ingredients. I'm even going to grow my own hops!!! Are there alot of brewers from around philadelphia? My goal is to brew an amazing porter one day.

Say hi to George and Nancy - they taught me to brew while I was in college '91-'94 (Penn).

Chaz - if you have not been to Home Sweet Homebrew, go there and check them out. I was last there in 1997, but they are great.

Will do. George and Nance are great, indeed. SWMBO is in PennMed and a number of her classmates have started brewing as well. Perhaps Penn should start a brewer's school. Hmmm...
