Stoked! it was easier than I thought.

Just hoping I got them down cool enough before pitching the yeast, I broke my thermometer yesterday :(

Cant wait for brew day on Saturday!

I just soak mine in a cold(as cold as it can be here in mn) tap water bath for 2-3hrs and it's always right around 70-72F. Just fine for a starter. They are pretty easy though!!

Maybe somebody with a little more experience can help me with how to put it in the carboy.

I've seen some people just dump it in, but I've also seen people put it in the fridge, decant the liquid and just pour the yeast in. Are there pros and cons to each method?

As of 8 tonight the starter will have been going for 24 hours. Saturday is brew day.

Your thoughts?

You can dump the whole thing or cold crash and decant, either way is fine

As for getting it in the Carboy you can use a funnel to avoid spilling just make sure it is sanitized:)
