I am from Seaside ORegon and am beginning the initial steps at doing some home brewing. I like to do lots of reading and learning before getting going, so I do it at least halfway right the first time. This will be a combination of two loves of mine, cooking and drinking beer.:mug:

Welcome fellow Oregonian!

You have come to the right place for info here at HBT! There are many, many brewers here to offer advice and to learn from!

Good luck

Greetings from the UP. Check on the Beginners forum; the thread by "Newbrewguy11" titled "Double check my process" he listed each step of his plan, and with the help of others now has a very good step by step plan to follow. We aim to help. Cheers & welcome:)

Welcome. It's a fun, rewarding hobby. Take your time, and don't let things seem like they are too hard or confusing. Ask questions, find a local homebrew club and ask to help out. I found that hands on with the brewing process made things so much easier to understand and to perform.

Cheers,
Kef

Just ordered my kit and it will be here when I get back from vacation. I have acquired a couple corny kegs and have started saving my bottles. Looking forward to brewing my first batch!!!
