Just dropping by to say hi

Hey all, it has been a while since I have last posted; hence the e-mail that just reminded me. I have not brewed a whole lot lately due to health and finances. Money has been a little tight, but last July I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and had to really learn when and how much I could actually drink and keep my sugars under control. The last I brewed was for my birthday last December and I currently have a Red India Pale Lager in secondary, named it RIPL Effect. But this is really a note to say hello and let everyone know I am still around, even though I do not post as often.

My wife started brewing beers she liked with me as her teacher a couple years ago. Things were just getting good,the geestational diabetes came back to haunt her. Type 1 no less. No more beer for her,it makes her sick. Damn. I feel for ya...
