Hey guys I am excited to announce that last night I successfully racked 50 bottles of bitter ale. Primary was about 10 days and had a final hydro reading of 1.012. After a quick taste test it was official and I bottled it! 2-3 weeks and I will be kicking back some ale for my birthday!

Feel free to try a few along the way, but don't expect anything spectacular until after that third week. I've also found that 3 days instead of 2 in the fridge can make a huge difference. Congrats! :mug:

No they should sit 70-75F for three weeks and then in the fridge for, IMO 3 days. The fridge helps to re-dissolve the CO2 into the beer and make it carbonated as opposed to all the CO2 rushing out when you open a warm one.

I took a couple and put them in the fridge after one and two weeks just to experience the process.

At least a week in the fridge will give decent head & carbonation. Sometimes 2 weeks fridge time to get it. But generally,2 weeks fridge time gives thicker head & longer lasting carbonation.
