I need some tips on a split batch. I need to refill my kegs for my daughter’s birthday party and I want to also have a little variety to offer.
My first instinct was to do a boil for a NEIPA with a Simple 2-row bill, Cascade hops during the boil. Then split into two fermenters and pitching Kveik (since speed is of the essence) and dry hopping one batch with Mosaic and Citra while letting the other batch ride it out.
How do you think this would work out? Also, what Kveik strain would be fruity, tropical and not too farmhouse (saison-ish). I don’t want them to be too dry.
I’m open to adding fruit to the keg of the one I don’t dry hop. Any tips are greatly appreciated.
