My SWMBO tried a can of this at a bike rally last night and loved it.
I was wondering if anyone knows or could guesstimate a FG so I could try to make my next batch of cider to her sweetness liking.

I'm not sure if it's actually cider, or flavored beer.

You could always decarbonate a bottle and get the FG, then find the ABV and work backward to find the SG.

So just take a can and let it sit out till it hoes flat?
I'll be able to get a SG at that point?

No, you will be able to get the FG at that point. Odds are that they simply ferment a standard cider, and then back sweeten afterwards. To get something the sweetness level your SWMBO likes, you would need to make your own cider and back sweeten to around the same area. This thread has some numbers from other Commercial Ciders, looks like 1.030-1.040 isn't unexpected.

The website for Johnny Appleseed says it has about 5.5% alcohol, so you should be able to get fairly close from that. If you start with about a 1.042 SG, and ferment down to 1.000, you would be right around 5.5%. Back sweeten to taste.

When I said SG I meant FG.
I'll have to get a can and conduct the test ASAP.

The cider I have in primary now is @ 1.003 after 8 days.
I expect it to ferment dry and I guess I'll backsweeten quite a bit, maybe to 1.030 to see if that's to get liking.
