Jaom like recipes?

I have been reading the forums and read ken schramms book and finally made my fist mead. It is a Jaom, and I do eventually want to start making mead more conventionally. But for now was wondering if anyone has tried making something very similar to Jaom but substituted a different fruit or the orange?

For JAO variants, just do a search, both here and over at the gotmead forums. It should kick up lots.......
