I just bottled this recipe yesterday, and based on the taste test I'm nervous about the spiciness.

3lbs Pilsner LME
.25lbs Carapils
.75oz. Amarillo - 20 minutes
.25oz. Amarillo - 5 minutes
.5 Amarillo - 0 minutes

6 jalapenos - 5 were chopped and put in fermenter without seeds, the 6th one I cut the ends off but left the seeds in to let the wort pick up some of the spice from the seeds by flowing through the pepper. From the taste test I am thinking I should not included the pepper with seeds, since the spiciness is pretty potent. Will this mellow out with time, or is that aspect not going to change much? Also, note that all of the peppers and seeds are gone now so the bottles are conditioning without any peppers.

Batch size is 2.13 gallons, in a Mr. Beer keg. I made the recipe myself.

BeerSmith has it at 4.93% alc. and 36.3 IBU's
