Is ventilation needed for all in one systems like grainfather or anvil?

Thinking about buying an all in one electric brew system for my basement.

I’d like to brew 5 gallon batches. Do i need to vent the steam from the boil outside my storage room? Alternatively, i could brew in my basement bathroom (which is pretty big) with door closed and fan on?

Also taking suggestions for which system to purchase.

My vote is for the Anvil Foundry. Either system will need ventilation unless you use something like the Steam Slayer. Since the Foundry lid is compatible with the T500 Distiller, I would think is should be pretty simple to attached a boil kettle condenser.

I use my Gf in my kitchen . No vent . Haven't been any issues that I've noticed.

It will add a lot of moisture to your home. I have rigged up an old kitchen vent hood I bought on Craig's list for $35, and piped it to a plywood panel that fits into a window that I open. The vent hood vents to the exterior, and is all installed in a non-permanent manor. Prior to this I put a box fan in the window, which moved far more air for the same effectiveness. The vent is much less load on the HVAC.
