Well, I'm tired of following everyone else's recipes and just modifying them a little and calling it my beer. So, I figured for the first time in 3 years of brewing (2 doing all grain), I would formulate my own recipe. As you can see, I am starting really simple. So, let me know if this is missing anything, or has too much of something else. It's just a simple pale ale, so it's kind of hard to screw up. :rockin:

I added some rye malt in there, as I really like the crisp, almost slightly bitter flavor that the rye malt adds. I also think it will change the color from urine to a morning urine type color. I'm brewing this for a party/cookout shortly.
My next step is to brew something a little more complex, but I need to crawl before I can walk.
