I feel as if the question has gained steam lately and now I even see it 3-4 times a year. It comes from all corners of the US, from small towns and large, from those who attend local beer releases to those who don't GAF anymore.

But I posit to you this: has the "is a craft beer bubble here" thread peaked? Are we about to see the bubble burst and this genre of thread vanish from our consciousness forever?

There's a tantalizing possibility that could possibly work. I've had some good low-to-zero IBU modern IPAs, where the bitterness is mostly perceived bitterness from heavy dry-hopping. Would it be possible to boil off the alcohol from an already-fermented beer, then hit it with a big dry-hop using fruity hops, and come up with something good?
