Bottled an American amber ale; this Sunday will be three weeks carbing/conditioning. What do you think...should I give in and have a taste?

Edit I just actually read your post, but yeah 3 weeks in the bottle you're good to go, start chilling and drinking bro

I hardly even wait a week on my beer to try. I know they won't be carbonated, but my curiosity always kills me. I don't lose any sleep over "wasting" a beer when each batch yields fifty.

I usually try my first after a week. Seldom ready, but almost always ready by week 2.

For lighter beers I open after two weeks, so I'd have gone for it a week ago! I've had a dark beer for Christmas (cranberries, vanilla, cinnamon, maple) sitting in bottles since Late August and it's painful, but I've just brewed lots since then so it's easier to forget about. I'm going to open a bottle on the 1st November though, to see how it's going.
