Ok, I went away on an extended trip, and forgot to check the water level in my lock for this batch, so it was left exposed to the elements of my house for a week or two...

This is what it now looks like... I added some pectic enzyme a few weeks back, but there is a slight haze near the top, and if you can't tell the top looks like it has a bit of a film growing in parts. It smells alright, and tastes fine (I took a very small taste to see).

Any ideas? Is this mold? Did I ruin my batch? What should I do with it?

If it smells ok it should be fine, but the film on top could be acetobacter, which gives a vinegar smell and taste, and loves oxygen.

It looks like the gunk that formed on the top of my Graff in secondary... I'm not sure what it consists of but don't let it deter you from enjoying your cider as long as it tastes and smells alright.
