I was wondering if somehow the fact that I have no ventilation system in my fermentation chamber can be a problem? Can co2 build up in my fermenting chamber cause issues to my fermentation and beer quality?

No, the Co2 would not build up to dangerous levels. You may get some mold with the wetter air in there, but you can buy a little dehumidifier to help with that.
