Is is PC to ask around for a yeast slant?

I am unsure of the ethics (or board rules) behind asking around for someone to share a slant of a banked yeast strain (especially when we are talking about VSS strains).

Is there a good place where you can get some of the previously released strains (or a Yeast Swap, Yeast Pass)?

What are you looking for? I don't have anything exciting but someone else might chime in.

I think it is just fine to ask for yeast strains, offering up what you have might help too. I don't slant but I also only have yeasts in my freezer anyway.
