Oh man is this one delicious. Green underripe banana, juicy sweet peach and citrus with some herbal grassy stuff and bubble gum. A bit sticky on the palate but super creamy and really enjoyable. One of the most unique beers I have tasted. Hope to find more.
Damn I really wanted this to suck haha. Nothing worse than having to trade for a "local" beer because of Shelton's ********

Is the Fantome/Grimm collab and/or the Forest Ghosts seriously turding up the shelves anywhere? Would like to do a go and pick it bro or work out a tome 4 tome exchange with someone here prior to throwing myself to the trading forum wolves.

I just posted in the South Atlantic section, but in case folks aren't checking over there, I'd love to do a Fantome bottle share sometime.

I'm in Orlando. But I'll be in Chicago the week of May 22 for a wedding so there's a chance I could meet up there around then too.

Lemme know if anyone is interested or has a better place to post this query...

One of my favorite Tomes ever. I only started with two bottles. If it's close to the last batch*, I'ma have to buy 12 of these.

*-You just never know...

I put in a 6 bottle order. And got an email that my box was full and a shipping invoice. Oops.

I guess I'll be receiving another box before I have even unpacked the last one.

I am not proud.

The strong dollar to euro ATM just makes it so painless.

They put 10 cases up for sale with no limit and it appears as though only a case or so has been sold so far in 3 hours?

Meanwhile, 375's of cantillon go up with limits and are priced higher and they sell out immediately.

Big smiles here, currently loving the state of Tomeness we are in.

I'm guilty of buying those Cantillons, thus only leaving room for 2 Tomes in my box.

However, in terms of quality of output since Fantome got rid of the "smoky" issue, I think Fantome > Cantillon. Apples to oranges? Of course. But I don't give a ****.

Never had batch 1. Bought 5 at Fantome last week. My nose wasn't 100% right to take everything in but when I drank one of them I got tons of lemon as soon as I opened the bottle. Nose, and taste while drinking too. Domed the bottle. Can report better details after bottle #2 o_O

Banging some velveta, some new magic ghost & the draft! This is heaven!

Best by date of 2018, corkless. (Ordered 8 total all corkless:confused:).

A- a hazy putrid green, just like the ecto cooler mommy used to make.:)
A- I gotta say the smell on this is one of the most amazing beers I've ever smelled. The only way I can describe it is a mix of raspberries, passion fruit & green tea! Amazeballs!
T- the taste follows through with fruity tea flavors up front then changes over to the grassy herbal Fantome flavors with a touch of bitterness. The finish leaves me with the saison DuPont aftertaste. So much going on here, so good.
M- meaty and thick, I dig.
O-one of the best tome's I've had yet, some much going on and working wonderfully together. The nose also give in to some lactic notes and as well hidden in the taste, with some time this could be something even more.

There has only been one batch of Tonka, right?

EDIT: Second question, has anyone had the first batch of De Tous recently? How's it doing? When I had one last summer I thought the lemon/grapefruit character it had fresh was falling off and funk only just starting to develop, didn't like it as well as I did when it first came out. Haven't had it since and wondering if funk has started to pick up and improve it or what...

And another question: is it still even possible to trade for Extra Sour Special Creation anymore without having other old tomes to trade for it? I've still never tried it, never had any bites when I've put up ISOs, don't know if it's even worth trying again.
