I have this same bottling. I actually asked for date info a while back and got this response from danyPCan any of you guys help figure out with the date on the below bottle? The guy I obtained it from thought it was from 2009-2011.
No matter the vintage, it sure is enjoyable.

Mystery solved!
I do the same thingGo on...
(I typically just mark when / where I purchased as it helps down the line when looking at the cellar).
So this Dark White is stupidly drinkable and has a numbing quality like I've been taking a small amount of a weird drug... and a savoury tomato finish

Only one more left, but ******* I love this beer. Going to try to sit on it another year, but I think it is peaking. Lemon-Lime on the nose, with nice 'Tomey funk starting to poke through. Definitely lost some of the "Capri Sun-ness" from when it was fresh, but it is just about perfect right now.

I'm fairly certain 2011 was the first. When we were there in late summer of that year he put it on tap for us and was calling it a new beer. He had been working on it for a while though as I remember him talking about a green beer on babblebelt a while before.Does anyone have clear information about how many batches of Magic Ghost there have been and when they were released? I have bottles that I'm nearly certain were bottled last year (2014) that say "best by 2017" and I have one bottle left that's "best by 2013" which makes me think it would be 2010 if the dating is three years out, but I think someone said earlier in this thread that the first batch was in 2011. Curious whether my bottle is from the first batch and also how many other batches there were between the two I have.
The Amazon ones I had earlier this year were cork less - both leaked slightly in transit, but were fine once opened.I recently acquired a Saint Roch and just noticed that it does not have a cork. Pictures I've seen online show the bottle as corked, so uh, what's the deal?

Yes, I've had quite a few.Ah ok, so there are occasional corkless Fantome bottles floating around.
Indeed and this isnt a new thing either. I remember Blanche from 05-08 was sometimes corkless. The oldest corkless bottle ive come across was a '98 Destineé and that **** was delicious.Ah ok, so there are occasional corkless Fantome bottles floating around.
How do you land this gig?Or, if he has guests assisting like he sometimes does they might get distracted and forget the corking step.
Not sure but its on my to-do before I die.How do you land this gig?

I figure with one man running that operation solo, he might forget a couple or run out. Or, if he has guests assisting like he sometimes does they might get distracted and forget the corking step.

Drive directly west for 2.5 hours and I can be your huckleberry.Awesome. Now I just need to find some locals to hold a Fantome share and open some of these up.

Ive been waiting for the new light dark coffee ruby red brown black whatever it is to appear on etre and then I was going to order a mixed tome case to include both.Anyone crack a Sante 19 yet? I only ordered one - and I have no idea why - and I was debating on whether or not I should open it now. After recent flat and ropey bottles of Saison and Ete, I don't want to open my one bottle too early. I did like Sante 18 right out of the gate, though.
Then again, it's Fantome. And right now some bottles of Sante 19 are carbonated and some are flat and some are dark brown and some are gold and dpf[ksgjgiohrmephion
