There are still smokey bottles around. Friar Tuck's in Bloomington has about two cases worth of smokey Hiver on the shelf.
I can point to a place that has smokey bottles that will gush into a wonderful 12 inch high fantome fountain. They are also on sale, only costing $10.

I am just getting into Fantome. It is just sitting on shelves here in Indy. I am slowly buying as much as I can before people figure it out.

I remember a time when I lived in Seattle and I kept passing up Cantillion that just sat on the shelf at Whole Foods. I will not make that mistake again.

which Fantomes are sitting on shelves in Indy?
Brise-BonBons has been on the shelf for a while also Pissenlit and Hiver, but it has been a few weeks since I have looked. When we got Ete I was able to get 2 bottles and sounded like they would have let me buy as many as I wanted.

i forget if i posted in this thread but i had a recent saison that had 100% hints of smoke in it. its a fresh batch too.

Is there any surefire way to know if a fantome was from this year (after the smokiness fiasco)?

100% hints.

Found a cache of Saison at the Charleston Beer Exchange. Owner said they just came in, rolled the dice on four. Super spiced, light funk as it warmed. Will be holding onto the other three for a tick, but zero smoke and lots of deliciousness. First time with regular Saison, but have had a number of other Tomes. Was not disappoint.
