Not so SWEET (berries) and SWEET (honey) mix?

I have 2.5 gals of Honey Porter in primary.
Splitting batch in 2. → 1.25 gals as it is, and then adding 1.25 lbs frozen organic blueberries for 7-10 days in a secondary 3 gal carboy (with blow-off)

Question is... is adding and a Non-sweet fruit like Blueberry to a Beer with Sweet Honey a bad practice.? ie: Will it cancel out that sweet Honey flavor.?

And if so → What fruit (or other additive)would work better to ''spice'' up half My honey Porter batch?

thanks in advance, expert recipe gurus.....

:hs:

a guy in my homebrew club makes a blueberry tangerine porter that is awesome. he uses a mixture of flavoring and real fruit. not sure how much but it comes out awesome so i would say go for it.
