Hi, My name is Dan and I live on the southern Oregon coast. I always wanted to brew my own beer and upon moving here I did. I've done three extracts w/steeping grains thus far with good results. I am working on getting my AG stuff together, just trying to finalize what I want.
I love beer...I mean I really love beer. I rarely if ever get drunk, I just like drinking beer. People think I'm weird because even before brewing, I was obsessed. I try to explain it to them, but they don't get it, they just think I like booze too much..I don't think such a thing is possible. Anyway, I'm glad this board is here, you guys have helped me out a ton.

Welcome and thanks for the intro.
I've had people ask me if I have an alcohol problem because I brew beer. I know what you are saying.
A lot of people don't understand but I really don't care. I've been taking samples to work and I think I've converted a few guys. They seem very impressed.
