I recently purchased a IPB-16S assuming it was the next generation of the IPB-16. I like most of the updates over the original, however the change in sensors and sensor support has me bummed.
I was hoping to upgrade the sensor to a different PT100. However if I am correct, the 's' model now ships with an NTC sensor, and does not support other sensor types (like the PT100). The option to change the sensor type has even been removed from the onboard configuration menu.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there as to whether this unit can support PT100 or not. In my testing today, it seems like the answer is that it cant (tried two different PT100 sensors). Would like to know if anyone has confirmation or not. TIA.
