My primary (5gal BB w/valve) seems to be leaking ... about a gallon over a 4 week period. Can infection work its way up a drip from the valve area and affect Edworts Apfelwein? I've sanatized the installation tool and tryed tightening to no avail. Don't really want to secondary into my 6 gal BB as I want to start a new project .... thanks.

The Blonde Ale one week in bottle is carbing nicely, taste great smells horrible ... I'm sure with time the smell will disipate.

The Belgian Wit was bottled a week ago and carbing nicely, nice head retention, very lacey, taste great and smells great. When I opened primary about an inch of krausen still on top ... by the time I got it racked into bottling bucket krausen sank ... bottled anyway .... didn't seem to affect taste at all, anything I should do in the future, as I'm sure we'll be doing this one again.
