I have a 32L kettle (as pictured below) that sits over two gas rings. I can get to a rolling boil on my stove but it takes ages and you need to have the lid partly on if you want the boil to be vigorous.
Are there any alternatives to a propane burner that you can use indoors? I live in the North of England and the whether is gish (rubbish) at the best of times.
I couldn't use one of those propane burners indoors with the windows and door open, could I?!
