So, I understand that the new craze in brewing is to not secondary ferment. I just read a post on what a guy should do with an Imperial IPA that he is NOT dry hopping and the unanimous reply was not to secondary.

My question is, as I plan to dry hop with 6.5 oz of total hops, should I use a secondary fermenter or should I just dry hop in the primary?

Thanks in advance!

I would just dry hop in the primary. That's what I always do. Clarification is negligible if that's what you're worried about. It also removes a point of potential oxidation.

Another factor is whether you plan to reuse yeast. If i were going to reuse i would secondary at that point

So I'm not going to have any issues with clarity with 14.5 oz of hops? I would love to only use a primary fermenter I'm just a little skeptical. What do you think?
