yeah I know thats a big mistake but its my first kit and it ame with a packet of dry yeast and I have lost it Its about 12am here and my wort is chillin right now will it be ok until I can get to the beer store tomorrow I need to know but I may find the yeast thanks

+ 1 If your sanitation was good. Make sure it is sealed up real well. The risk is wild yeast or bugs taking over the wort while there is no yeast in there. You should be OK, but the sooner you get some yeasties in there the better.

Also, I know Papazian tells you to RDWHAHB, but it's best to take it easy on brew day.

I'm just sayin....

i didn't understand a word of that but I actually cleaned more than I do when I make wine and I have only had 1 bad batch everand I've made plenty thanks for the quick responses

hell yes I found the yeast my roommate moved it thinking a was a flavor pack from ramen noodles

You could always try leaving the cap off the carboy, stick somewhere with access to outside air, and turn the brew into a lambic too :D

Though I'd probably just go get some yeast in the morning, just throwing the idea out there.

Sweet, yeast in the ramen and boullion in the beer!! That could make for some interesting combinations!
Glad all turned out for you!!
Happy brewing!

Woo Hoo!! Beef Ramen Happoshu!!!
Beef Ramen Happoshu? You intrigue me sir. Go on...

As for the OP, it should be fine. Think about the homebrewer rally that Surly put on recently where they gave wort to the attendees. As long as everything is well sanitized there shouldn't be a big problem.
