Iid blew off my fermentor amd question

So I figure the lid blew off about a week ago and has been sitting in my basement like that until tonight. Bummer. Is my beer ruined after sitting uncovered for about a week?

Brewing happened for centuries before the invention of airtight containers. Taste it and see if it's alright.

Just think of a good name for it, like Blow Your Top or something catchier than what I just said.

As a general rule, never ever ever throw out a batch till you're 100% sure it is failed. If it was my batch I'd put the lid right back on and pretend nothing happened.
