Last summer, I racked some berliner weiss onto a bunch of peaches. I used too many peaches, and it never seemed to taste great, so I left it. And left it. And, I'm just getting around to it now. When I got it out this morning though, I get a huge vinegar smell, which is scary, because the only thing in the original berliner was lacto and some german ale yeast.

I did have headspace, so my thought is aerobacter, and that I have actual peach-berliner weiss vinegar on my hands.

Thoughts? Should I bottle and pray? Dump it? I'm working my courage up to taste some, I will post back when I do.

Yeah, definitely vinegar. I think it tastes kind of good, but the wife thinks it should be aged on oak, and I'm worried about it infecting other things...
