I am working to convert my keggle to electric from propane. Well, the folks at the electric brewery have this nice kit that you can buy that has all the ingredients.... well... you know what.... if you price them all out it is more expensive than just buying the kit and having everything at your fingertips....

buying on amazon... 152.27.... from electric brewery... 145.00

thank guys.... for honest pricing.... really commendable in this day and age... heck.. I am going to buy the one already put together... figured that is worth the extra $40.....

prob has already been shared.... but thought I would say it again if so....

What exactly are you comparing?? amazon and the electric brewery sell a lot of different stuff?
I know Kals elements are priced extremely fair.

I agree kals kits are fairly priced but to be fair you can safely mount an element in any kettle for less than $145 too...

you can use this
https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/hotpod-ewl3.htm
with a $40 stainless element and add about $20 to $40 for the cord and plug depending on your preference and come in at about $100....much less if you uses one of the non stainless based elements that sell for around $20...

I was really on a budget and used a 1.25" plastic conduit coupler filled with epoxy to safely and permanently encapsulate my element wiring to the element. (cost about $8) with the $22 for the element $5 for the oring and nut and $15 for the 6ft of 25a rated cord as well as the $6 for the speakon plug I came in much less.($60).. Its budget and not fancy but just as safe and works just as well... if I were to do it again I would use weldless 2" TC connections to the kettle for easy cleanup.
