So i got a used fridge from a client's house for my Kegerator... It was a mess.. it looked like this lady had never cleaned it out... So I hosed it out in my back yard... It had been sitting for about a month or so in my basement... It work fine at her house... but I plugged it in and boom... Doesn't work...

what could be wrong with it???

I'm not an appliance guy, but I'm curious if you moved it in to your house, then immediately plugged it in? If so, that may be playing a role. I believe you have to let it sit after jostling it around (24 hours I believe).

Was it sitting in the elements in your back yard for an entire month? Corrosion? Any big bumps when it was relocated that could have damaged the compressor, etc?

If you can avoid it, it's best to not lay a fridge on it's side or on it's back. The oil from the compressor can get up into the coils and clog them.
