I have been happily BIABing with my Wilser bag. Went to brew tonight and couldn't find the thing anywhere. Must have tossed it out with the spent grain from the last batch. :(

So I ordered another one and will probably do the brew in a few days. I have a 2L yeast starter that has fermented out and is "resting." I'm thinking it will be fine, anyone want to disagree with me?

Are you picking a fight? :)

Shame on losing the wilserbag. Those things are tanks. I know Michael hates to hear about people squeezing the bag--he's probably concerned they'll tear stitches--but I've done that a lot and the bag looks no worse for wear.

Good luck on getting a new brew going. Store that yeast in the refrigerator, then warm it up before pitching. You might want to decant that before you pitch it.

You'll want to brew soon, that starter won't be good for too long. Refrigerated it will lose yeast cells. I'd plan to get the brew done within.....oh, maybe 6 months or less. Yes, the yeast calculator will tell you your yeast is depleted in that length of time. It is wrong. Yeast do not die very quickly at refrigeration temperatures.
